I've been working in the graphic arts industry since the 70's, when images were illustrations, layouts were rendered with pantone markers and prepress production was ink and rubber cement. Great mentors back then showing me the ropes, especially when it came to designing print advertising.
The community newspaper industry was my home for 18 years as I provided art direction and production management to several publications. Sadly, I watched my profession succumb to downsizing and my job was outsourced overseas. Such is life.
So, I re-invented myself, started Murdoch Media Graphic Design Services and now offer my creative services to companies who not only want quality, affordable and personal access but support and invest in local business.
When I'm not busy in my studio or need some creative inspiration, I hit the road on my Harley-Davidson with my wife and son in formation and my daughter on the back!

I'm very good at riding a motorcycle, not so great on a horse and if skiing was a contact sport, I would excel at that.
However, I'm very experienced with Adobe's Creative Suite. It provides me all the tools I need to get any creative job accomplished.

On a serious note, I am very experienced in visual communication. It is important to understand that the best design will come from the vision my client has. The recipe to a great design will come from the collaboration between client and designer. My clients provide me with the ingredients, and my job is to mix them together to make the best dish I can.
A dish that brings them back for more.
